The goals of our SPED program are to provide support to OC students who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) and to offer first-rate Christian education to families who have elementary school-aged children with mild-to-moderate disabilities.

Presenter: Rob Behnke, Director of Special Education
A graduate of Ontario Christian, Rob Behnke ’98 is passionate about inspiring children with disabilities to shift their thinking about life’s possibilities. He has worked with several school districts, including Chino Valley Unified and Moreno Valley Unified. He received his M.A. in counseling psychology from California Baptist University and graduated from University of La Verne’s Mild-to-Moderate Education Specialist Credential Program. Rob and his wife, Cindy (Nigg) ’04, live in Chino with their two kids, Parker and Clayton.
